PALS  

Parents Association Little Spring

 

Little Spring School has a very active parents' association who hold a number of events to support  and raise money for the school.  All parents and carers of the school are automatically counted as members but we also welcome friends, family and members of the community too.

Anyone is welcome to come and join us and share any ideas you have in raising money for our children and school. PALS meet on the second Thursday every month during term time and on Fridays after our celebration assembly. Meetings are very informal. Please come and join us . We look forward to seeing you!

Every Friday during term time at 9.15 there is an informal meeting/coffee morning for PALS after our school celebration assembly. Everyone is welcome. Please come along.

Throughout the year PALS  hold a number of events. All are publicised in our weekly newsletters and around school.  Please come along and support us if you can!

 

Some of the events we hold are:

Car boot sales, both indoor and outdoor.

Half termly after school film clubs and termly discos for the children.

A Christmas party with Father Christmas. 

Refreshments for parents, children and friends during sports day, pancake day, concerts and performances  and open evenings.

A BBQ for Year 6 and sausage sizzle lunches for everyone.

A Summer Fair which is usually held in June or July.

 

As well as being very enjoyable all events raise much needed money for the school. Last year PALS have financed some fantastic learning days, a trip to the Christmas Pantomine at Elgiva, music equipment and art and creative resources.

 

This year as well as the above we intend to hold a Cinderella Ball in December, our annual Pancake Cafe, and a celebration for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
