Year 5   Kestrel Class 

 

History Off the Page came into visit Year 5 and Year 6 on Thursday 17th November.  The children were able to learn a great deal about life during the Second World War during this 'hands on' presentation. 

 

During the day they were able to experience wartime lessons, staying in an Anderson Shelter and were also able to handle a range of artifacts from the time.  Both year groups have been studying Life in the Second World War during this half of the winter term.

 

The classes are planning an assembly on Thursday 8th December to tell the school and parents about what they have learnt.

Year 6   Eagle Class

 

Year 6 and some staff represented the school at the Chesham Town Armistace Day Service. We were pleased to be able to join with other schools and the community for this special event.
